Hello everyone. I am new to this forum as I will be the new owner of this big guy! His name is Tyson and he is 12 days old. The breeder tells me the white should fade out as he matures. Is that the case?
He is a very reputable breeder of champion show dogs. I'm sure he knows his stuff... Let me know what you guys know or think. Thanks! Last edited by Joeb1983; 01-26-2013 at 04:32 PM. |

This will actually be my 2nd. My first was named Deuce. I ended up giving him to my widowed grandmother after she watched him for for me while I was deployed overseas.
It was the best thing for her. She will be 76 this year and has lived alone since 1985... He is now old, fat and very spoiled. lol! Its been over 4 years and he still remembers me when I go home to Florida to visit. Pulls on the heart strings a little. Last edited by Joeb1983; 01-26-2013 at 05:59 PM. |

Here is Tyson's father. I have been in contact with the breeder for some time now in regards to what I personally wanted in a boxer.
I wanted a black faced brindle with white confined to the feet and chest. Tyson has been the closest match so far and my wife fell in love with him. I just hope the white turns as he said it should... Either way I will love him regardless. Last edited by Joeb1983; 01-26-2013 at 07:55 PM. |

I think it will mostly fade out. Maybe just a speck left at most. The upper part should fade I think. I've seen the same width fade.
If you don't mind me asking, where are you getting him from? I think I've seen the sire in person before... Sent from Petguide.com Free App |

I am getting him from Besten Boxers in Oklahoma. I've been stationed there for the past 8 years.
My wife dropped of the deposit today and signed the contract as I am currently deployed. She saw both the mom and dad. Both where beautiful and the dad looked even bigger in person and was really friendly. Tyson is the biggest of the litter. Besten Boxers - Home |

It will mostly fade. There will probably only be a little speck of white if any left when he matures. If you see my avatar when Moxie was small she had quite a bit of white on her face. The pic in my signature is most recent and it has all but disappeared. Same with the white spot on her neck. Just a few white hairs there now.
