Default RIP Jasmine Boxer

Yes she really was my Boxer Dog Daughter,i got her when she was 6 weeks and 4 days old on September 1st 2007,she was the runt of the litter and clinged tightly to me so i took her there and then,as she was pushed to the back.
She passed away on March 15th 2017 at 2am,leaving my heart in shreds,at that moment i really did not mind if i passed away. She was 9 years and 8 months old,had so much love left in her and still very active. When she was at her peak in 2014 you would swear she would reach 12 with ease.I always said when she turned 9 that if she got to 14 i would happily go as well.
My poor Jasmine died of a heart attack on our 7th holiday in the Scottish Highlands, bless her.I am totally devastated and will be for sometime, often i feel like dying in my sleep,i miss her so much.
I am grieving and i feel for her so much because i really think she was robbed of 3 years, she had so much love and fun still to offer.
Of course i am sure you all know how bad i feel and many of you have been through this terrible pain.I never knew until she passed away i could feel so much pain.

Oh I'm so sorry ... my Struddell barely made it to the ten year and at that DM, claimed her ability to walk at 8.5 years but we carried on till it was finally game over.

Losing any dog is always heartbreaking ... but I think losing a Boxer is worst?? I know it's not there plan ... but they kinda take away the laughter and the sunshine when they fall by the wayside on life's journey.

There are going to be dark days ahead ... no doubt but you will get through them and one day the tears will be tears of joy and not sadness as you remember the good times.
Take Care.

I'm so very sorry for your loss
I lost my Mongo on 3/30/2017 from a brain tumor - he was my heart and soul and I still cry.
Mongo was 8 years, 2 months and 1 day old when we lost him.
I know the pain will lessen over time, and so will yours.

<<Hugs>>

I understand how you feel and I'm so sorry for your loss. Think on the bright side she had a wonderful life and when she passed she did without pain or sickness.when my time comes that the way I'd like to go. Hugs

It's a horrible thing to have to go through! I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember thinking things would improve a little after a month, but it seemed even worse for several more after I lost my heart dog in 2007. I did have a friend who was going through the same thing so we'd email each other at odd times during the night.

I walked a lot, and even visited a pet store so I could get some puppy kisses. Try to remember how brave she was, and draw on her energy. I did foster a dog after a few months, which helped. Things were too quiet without a dog in the house, and after about eight months I started looking for Boxer breeders.

My husband is from Welsh relatives, who had wonderful singing voices. Sadly, he and his brothers couldn't hold a tune. Their mother had the nuns try to teach them how to sing, but to no avail

So sorry for your loss, I am sure that your Jasmine had a great life with you in Wales with holidays in the Scottish Highlands. From what I have heard Boxers don't have huge life expectancy due to all the issues, so at nearly 10 Jasmine was a winner.

My boxer has heart issues, I am just doing everything I can to keep her slim and well exercised and hope she lives as long as your Jasmine did.

I am very sorry for your loss. I can say that I know exactly how you feel as we lost our Bella on 4-1-17 to gastric cancer with little to no warning. She got sick on 3-23 and put her down on 4-1. My beautiful girl was only 7 years old. I am 38 years old and it is by far the most difficult thing that i've been through in my life so far as far as loss is concerned. But I cried and cried and cried. To the point where by the following Monday, the skin under my eyes began to crack open. And I am still not right now.

All I can tell you is hang in there. That is all you can do. And put yourself first. That dog knows you loved her and you gave her an amazing life. It is so painful when they leave us but somehow we ever so slowly adjust. Take one day at a time, and God Bless.

Run free, Jasmine. And look for Bella Bells up there.
