Thanks everyone for the kind words... It's been a month and it's really not getting any better. We sure miss our dog. My wife is sleeping with his favorite stuffed bear underneath her pillow. I wish we would not have lost this dog. He was the best boxer we've ever had. I hope my wife and myself get over this little guy some day soon. It's tough to walk around the house and the yard while the other 2 boxers still look for him.
It's scary to think that we will have to endure this with 2 more boxers.
I know that everyone goes through this at one point in their lives... So my prayers go out to everyone else as well.

Very sorry for your loss and pain, B. Everybody grieves different ways and at different rates. Sounds like it will take a while, and patience will really be a virtue. Sometimes it comes and goes. Be there for each other, as I'm sure you have been.

When it's time for the other two the memories of this one will probably compound the situation... just brace yourself for it, and be prepared.

Celebrate his life when you can.

Best wishes and hugs from me, and a slurp from our Cookie who also misses her buddy Dutch (but maybe not Tess so much).
