I periodically place ads on Kijiji asking for unwanted freezer meat. I tend to do it in the Fall when hunting season starts and in the spring when everyone want to clean things out.

Well I scored over 200lbs of Moose and Vension today I was tickled to death when I saw what they had. I also got a very large whole chicken, a bit of beef and 10lbs of bacon.

My freezer was empty and it completely filled it! Gotta love FREE Especially meats I dont usually have available.

So I assume that it's ok to give the dogs freezer burned meat? To think of all the stuff we've tossed in the garbage over the years...

Freezer burned meat is perfectly fine for our pooches Its actually perfectly fine for us but I find it changes the taste of the meat so I wont touch it.

Yes, that's why I can't stand it. It just tastes weird... good to know it's safe to feed to the pooches!
