I bought a little over 10lb of beef this afternoon at discounted prices so I was splitting it up into meal sized portions. I usually cube it, but half way through my hands were getting tired so I decided to see how Logan would do with a whole (or almost whole) steak. I thought he'd chew it better than he did, but he got it down and it stayed down! Anyone else feed steaks whole or do you cube it?

Here's a video.

Thanks. Yes, this is what I did. It was great and I'm over my fear! My pug actually had a smile on her face which I haven't seen in a while!! (I lost my cocker and she's been grieving... She's getting better). I can't wait for tomorrows dinner now Thank you everyone for your help!!! I'm sure I will have a lot more questions as I go along...

Ril-Mas I just love the look of Logan! I'm hoping my pup will be similar. Every time I see him I get excited! He is beautiful!! Did you get him from Liz too?

Ooops... I'm sorry! Didn't realize you asked this until now. I'm not sure who Liz is, but I got Logan from a great breeder out in Arizona. Couldn't be happier with him myself!

Here's Logan eating his first turkey neck. I cut one in half and gave him the thicker half.

I'm glad you found this to be helpful. I know watching videos on Youtube clinched it for me too. Just being able to see that they CAN do it and how it looks when they are eating it was helpful. More or less just to give an idea of what to expect when you make the switch.

I wonder if the mods here would consider this thread to sticky worthy???

Omg thanks so much ... this is a huge help!.. I have given my guys some things but man I chicken out of others. The one pic of the babies eating really made me think! Would anybody mind telling me what they feed in a typical day or so?? I am worried about how much and what they should be eating in a week.
