Thanks. I sent them an email to see what their store hours are and still waiting to hear back. I'm going to go to metro after work and pick up some thighs and drumsticks to try. I figure until I get the hang of it I'll alternative PMR, their healthy paws and bold raw.

Theres a poultry store in Hamilton as well. I think its called Highland Poultry. Its on Nebo Rd. I buy my chicken from there at a fair price.

Right now they have a case of chicken leg quarters for $50. It's a 25kg case. Sometimes i can get it for cheaper but lately its been $50. I also buy chicken backs there for a great price. They dont always have those though so calling ahead of time to check their stock is a good idea. The last bag of backs was less than $7 and had about 20 backs.

Awesome thanks! I think I saw them online today. I fed my dogs drumsticks tonight! First of all, my fear is over and second they loved it!!! My pug right away knew what to do but only got one :-( Nikki had no clue and had 4. So licked one and watched what Hailey was doing so got another and licked I too. This went on for all 4. Then she got it! She really enjoyed it! I also bought some calves liver... That's pricy!! I love it and it looks cheap until you price it by the pound! I'm so excited to be trying this. The dogs and I will be eating the same at night now lol

It is way to early for liver or organs of any type. Skinless chicken for the first 2 weeks only. If you rush things you will end up with explosive poops and upset bellies.

Even if they are on store bought raw now? They have organs mixed in the meat they eat. I will wait a couple weeks before doing anything other than chicken just to be safe. Thanks again!
