Mom2Rocky

I put an ad on craigslist offering to take any unwanted meats... A couple weeks ago I scored 10 lbs of fresh deer meat trimmings. And 4 deer legs.

Today I got off work (3rd shift) and was very ready to go home and go to bed. But, I checked my email and a guy about an hour away contacted me saying that he had about 50lbs of deer meat.. and that it was mine if I wanted it. I called him right away asking questions. I took Rocky along because I was a little nervous meeting a strange man. We met at a gas station off the interstate. Rocky didn't growl or anything when he walked up to my car...He actually wagged his nub. So I felt a little safer as Rocky is usally a good judge of character.. I then followed him a few miles down the road to his home where he gave me not 50 lbs, but 70 lbs!!! of FREE (WOW!) deer meat. I'm so excited!!

By the way, I'd be just as nervous as you with meeting a strange man. Good to know Rocky trusted him. That would've helped calm my nerves a little bit too.
