Default Need help with stools on raw

Silvia is 11 months now and has been eating raw for over a month. Many good changes in her but after noticing yellow colored stools with a soft serve texture I decided to star back from week one (she was already into full turkey) then I was also informed that over feeding was likely the problem.

So this past week she has been on chicken quarters with no skin. 1lb instead of the two pounds she was getting before. No more vitamins, and no raw egg. Chicken only in the morning all in one meal. Today was finally able to see how here stool was and still not satisfied so I need help on seeing what's wrong or what I'm doing wrong.

Would it help if I split the meals in .5 pounds twice a day?

I have a picture but I'm not sure how you guys would feel if I posted on here so ill let this get some responses first. It now has form and is I. The right color but still a little slinky looking.

Thanks for the help guys

Ok, so post the picture of her poop. I am all about poop as it can tell us so many things. Also how much does she currently weigh?

I'll tell you my opinion again, Sounds like too much to start. Can you feed three meals a day?

And here is my girl, 11 months and right around 55lbs

And still feeding too much? Half of what I was and it seems like she's starving. And always trying to eat Rocky's food (puppy on kibble) so I do my best to feed them different places but I work full time so its hard. My mom feeds her in the morning cause I leave at 5am but if we split it into two meals I could feed her dinner later in the day I that would help.

EDIT: the one to the left is fresh, I think the one on the right has been hit by the sprinklers for days

That is actually not all that bad. A little mucousy but that is to be expected at this stage. Keep her on the 1lb and divide it into 2 meals. See if that helps.

If its still mucousy, then you will need to add in some more bone content.

How could you add more bone? Lol I don't take any outa e I though the thigh and drum stick had a good amount of bone.

Also I didn't think it was too bad, but not how they were on kibble and as good as I'd like it to be.

You're right Kari, that doesn't look too bad. I was picturing a lot worse because I have seen worse.

It looks like a bit of irritation in the stomach. Give it a few days and should get better.

My thing is that she has been on raw for over a month and now it doesn't even have skin and still looks like that

Thighs are actually a bit higher on the meat to bone ratio. I would try quarters which have a bit of spine attached instead of thighs and drumsticks separate.

You can purchase some chicken backs or even simpler you can remove some meat from the leg

But dont change anything quite yet. You need to give her body time. Just be patient
