This is vegetarian, but even Ken likes it and can't believe it doesn't have meat!
3 15 ounce cans black beans, including the liquid. *I use Ranch Style brand. 1 package Soyrizzo. *It's like chorizzo only made with soy. 1 4 ounce can chopped green chilies 1/2 cup salsa cheese, sour cream, onions, what ever you like to mix in. Dump the beans with their liquid, the chilies and salsa into a sauce pan. *Heat on low. Squeeze the soyrizzo out of the package into a nonstick skillet and stir fry till heated through. Add the soyrizzo to the chili, mix well and heat through. Serve with your favorite chili fixins! |

sounds intriguing. I am gonna have to try this. I am always a bit weary of the soy stuff though but I will be open minded. maybe...

Oh that sounds good !! my hubby is cuban and loves black beans and I do make reg chili with black beans and its really good.
