My boy is going home

My foster boy, Jonesy, will be leaving us to live with his new family this coming Friday. Jonesy has been with us for almost 6 weeks. And we loved every minute of it. His new family lives on a farm with chickens, rabbits and horses. And his fur sibling is a boston terrier. I cried when I was first told of the news - fostering is fulfilling work but also so heartbreaking. Knowing Jonesy, he will cuddle his way to their hearts in no time. Jonesy, Mommy loves you so much!

Aww...is he going to a family that is close enough that you will still see him??? Hopefully so or even email updates.

I live in So. California and Jonesy's new home is 7 hours drive away.

I really do hope his new family will share pictures and news about him.

I love how crazy he and Leila were giving me so many sweet kisses, but as soon as I picked him up and put him on my lap (imagine Jonesy sitting on my lap as a child would on his tushy with legs straight out), all their shenanigans suddenly stopped. LOL
