Leila the 'evaluation' dog
A gorgeous white boxer named Cesar was put up for free on craiglist. A boxer rescue was interested in him but they needed to know if he was good with other doggies. Of course, the owner said he was but most owners exaggerate the truth just so to make it easier on them to get rid of the dog. Cesar had been on my mind for more than a week until I came up with an idea: Leila can help test his temperament with other doggies! So Jansen (getgracie's Mom), Leila and I drove an hour away to meet Cesar.

Awww what a beautiful boy and Leila was such a good girl! So funny to see "long" tails. Both Gouda and Kippah had/have such small nubbies compared to them!

Looked like Leila was having a great visit. I know it had to break the owners heart giving away such a sweet boy like that but I can understand that with getting older it gets harder. Glad to hear that Cesar has a foster family waiting for him. Yes, it was cute seeing the longer stubbie tails as both of mine have shorter stubbie tails.

I love me some Leila!! She is what we call a Bombproof baby. She is such a doll and I think her new job title as the official eval dog is perfect for her.
She is such a good baby.

He is beautiful!!! I feel very bad for the elderly owner having to give him up. But, he is doing the right thing for Cesar....that's where his heart is.... Leila is wonderful with him, such a good girl. Bless you girls for what you do!

I absolutely love Leila and all your pics and stories of her just make me love her more! What a sweet girl!
 And sooo sad for that guy but he is doing what is best for the Cesar... Oh and btw... I WANT HIM!!!! He is sooooo handsome!
