Thanks again everyone for donating and I have wonderful news!! Here is what Gail at Homeward Bound Pug Rescue wrote me today:
We will take her. I might suggest the money go towards surgery. She will need it removed anyway. But it is up to you. If you choose to put towards surgery you can put it on bill . I don’t need anything to come directly to me. Thanks so much for trying to help this girl. How sweet!! Any pictures will help and I will direct people to the link for the chip in.

That's great! I looked this morning and saw she's almost at the $250 mark which is amazing! I'm glad we were all able to help. Hopefully she'll get the treatment she needs and will recover nicely, and of course find herself a nice home afterwards!

I raised the chip-in amount to 500. Gail at the pug rescue is sharing the link for donations and some people won't donate if the see the chip-in is filled. I had no idea we'd raised what we have so quickly and find a rescue to step up. HBPR is handling all the medical, so I will be forwarding the funds directly to them. Thank you to EVERYONE for giving this sweet girl the best Christmas gift and keeping her safe!!!

Anybody else? All funds raised go to the pug rescue to offset the costs of surgery for Precious.

OK I just got an update from Nicole at the shelter on Precious:
Michael one of our board members is heading to OKC and taking her. We have coordinated with Homeward bound and will take her to their vet so she can go straight into a vet check and surgery. I am trying to coordinate with Michael on a time so I can call them and give them a heads up.
