Last month we rescued our female boxer Stella! She is out 2nd boxer, replacing our very beloved 1st boxer rescue Bella who we lost last July after a extended emotional fight with Spondylosis
Took us a while to recover enough to even think about another dog (they just don't live long enough!)Rescued Stella from N Idaho Boxer rescue, same shelter our first boxer was saved by! Wonderful organization that does a lot with so little, like most rescue groups..chip in whenever you can! Well, overall Stella is wonderful. She has a few "shelter/stray" issues that we are working through, but wiggle butts always have a way of worming themselves into your heart! She was very undernourished, but after a solid raw diet plan using baked chickens, quality hamburger and other additives, she has gained all the weight recommended and now no longer has food guard issues! Great forum, wealth of info! |
