Default I need your help with choosing the rigt toy

Hello,
My name is Nora and I am the happiest owner of a 8 months old boxer girl (DEIA). She (usually) is a delight, and as I read more and more on this forum, I discover that she trully has the main traits of her breed, those that make me love her and also those that drive me mad .
I am from Romania, a central-east European country, so some things must be said: first of all, please excuse my poor english or the eventual mistakes I make in writing. Second, I have read many of the threads on this forum and I am quite amazed of how wonderful the members talk to each other and how much they care for their pets.
While reading about the toys members use for their pets, i discovered the Kongs. I googled it (please don't laugh, it is quite unncommon in our country and it can't be found in regular pet stores) and I found it online. I want to buy one (the classic kong, the red one, large), but it sais there that the classic kong is designed for adult pets. Please help me, is it ok to purchase that kind of toy for a 8 monts old puppy? If so, which one is recommended for this age? Is it important to mention that she is a though chewer? (nothing rezists in her jaws: shoes, even my newest, unworn ones, stuffed toys, so on, even her leash). Thank you for taking the time to read my post and I hope you can help me

My girls have Kongs but they are a bit smaller (as I can go to our local pet store & pick up newer ones as I need to with them growing). Looking at them online at one of our pet stores it says a Large one is for 30-65 pounds (adult weight). I would think that would be a decent one at 8 months for your little one. What I love with the Kongs is that you can stuff your dogs favorite treats or peanut butter or anything in the toy to keep your pup busy. I love watching my girls figure out how to get whatever out of it. I wish you the best of luck & welcome to the forum.

They have black kongs for heavy chewers too. I don't think she will need a puppy kong anymore as she will have her adult teeth now.

I have the red kong for my female, she is 55lbs; and the black one for my male, 75lbs. And if you are doing an order from kong I highly recommend the wubba and the squeezz ball, these are their FAVORITE toys, and they have many to choose from

Thanks for your advice. I just ordered some toys and hopefully they will arrive in 5-6 days from Germany. Can't wait to see my girl's reaction.

Never heard of the Jolly ball, just looked them up. Might have to look into them for my girls for Christmas. Pheona claimed a football that belonged to my boys & has torn it apart. We acquired another football & between her & Murphy they are ripping it apart. I am always looking for toys that can be outside for them.

Brooklyn does have a whole bin full of toys, Kongs, sqeeking squirrels, deer antlers, you name it, its in there..However her favorite place to get a toy is the kitchen recycling bin, she pulls out all the sprite bottle, boxes, newspapers..so I have not even bothered buying her a toy in a while..I just let her play with the recycling materials..but I think I will try the Jball, as a gift
