Default Homemade toys

I thought it would be fun if we could put all of our favorite homemade toys on this thread

One of my dogs favorite toys is simply a water bottle...He loves them but I worry about him choking on the lid. So I just take a ok sock (no holes!) and I put the water bottle in it and tie it. I have seen at target that they have similar toys with water bottles in them well I figure why sown 10 dollars on something you could make. I also like the toy where u tie 3 socks together to make a kind of rope toy.

I just found something on Pinterest that shows making a rope toy out of a bunch of strips of old t-shirts. Now why didn't I think of that? Lol. Definitely going to make some. Actually I want to go find a maxi dress at goodwill and make a really long one for them to play tug-of-war.

That is cool I will have to make one of those for hutch... I couldn't even imagine the mess that would come from the maxi dress if the undid all the fabric lol

I recently saw something about the t-shirt strips braided up to make chew toys!! I love it (but have yet to try it)...

This isn't really a "toy", but a game I'll play with Georgie, which she enjoys (for a short time at least). I use a cupcake tin and hide treats in some of the cups... Then put tennis balls in the cups and she has to "find them"....

And of course, the classic water bottle, milk container or paper towel roll. But those don't usually last too long!!

Lol. I have thought about that. I wonder if all the threads will come loose. Maybe I should try a t-shirt first.
