Default She is scared of everything!!

My 1 year old Roxie is scared of EVERYTHING ha ha. She is scared of the broom, the vacuum, my hairdryer, the electric toothbrush, and this back scratcher we have. Rico who is 5 months doesnt seem to be scared of anything; he looks at her like she is crazy when she starts going nuts over things...

Are any of your boxers scared of anything?

Rocky is scared of bigger dogs that get right up in his face and act all tough.. He will go hide under the bench at the dog park if he is feels like he is being threatened. Other than that I have not seen him shy way from anything. I have the exact opposite problem.. He loves the hair dryer, I blow it at him and he gets all excited and crazy and wants to play lol, He will bite/bark/chase the broom and vaccume. Oh.. and when I was out with the push mower mowing the lawn he was getting a bit too close for comfort and play jumping all around me.. So he is not allowed outside when I am mowing. He is pretty fearless at this point...

Edit: I forgot... a couple of weeks ago I took him down to the Mississippi River and he was scared of the waves coming in.. but then we took him disc golfing and he was jumping through the streams... so I am thinking he wasn't too sure about the waves crashing in on him.

My Gemma attacks the vacuum and the lawnmower as well. She used to growl and bark at ceiling fans and regular circular fans. All I did was grab her and hold her up to it just to show her it cannot hurt her. After we did that a couple of times she didn't even pay it any attention any more. I too get scared when mowing the lawn because she gets really close to it so I lock her inside when I mow. She absolutely LOVES water and being sprayed with it. Any other boxers love water like that?

About the only thing SuzyQ is afraid of is water - she will not go in. But she's fearless when it comes to fireworks, thunder, gun shots, vacuums, brooms etc. None of that stuff bothers her, in fact she usually wants to attack and play with everything. She will bark when it thunders loud and run to the door - silly dog.

The only thing Maddie is a little skiddish with is the vacuum. She tries to fight the broom though.

Valant is the bravest dog I've ever met;

Nothing,I repeat,NOTHING scares him.

Anecdote of the day:

The other day a cement truck (we all know how high and noisy they are) was parked nose fully on the sidewalk on our way to the park,engine,mixer,all were running full steam).
Valant passed right under the bumper (almost under the engine) and only his short stubby ears went reactions besides that at all.

Dakota is 5 months old now and isn't scared of many things...

but... if you 'fling' open a garbage bag she is off to the races! Also, she tries to dodge the rain drops by doing a 'burn' around the yard everytime its raining, but she gets used to it after a couple minutes lol.

Gracie is afraid of the waves from the ocean. When they come in, she bows down low and wiggles backwards. Sometimes when a big male dog comes around, she gets really shy and cowers tucking her tail in and taking refuge between my legs.
