Funny stories I'm reading about rain and potty breaks. Leila will go potty in the rain but she doesn't like the umbrella. I wear a hooded jacket to keep myself warm and dry during potty breaks.

Mine haven't been out since 7 AM.
They haven't even asked to go out.
I think they know it's raining.

Perhaps give her an area in the home on pee pads or newpaper that she is allowed to go. It might be a set back but at least its an area that can be easily cleaned. Then once the storm has passed you can remove them.

Wyatt LOVES LOVES LOVES any type of water, stolen baths from me before, jumped in our pond and will most definitely run around and dig holes in the rain! He is afraid of the umbrella. He just barely fits through penny's doggy door, so we need to block it off so he doesn't get in... I'm not a fan of this wiping paws business... Sandy better make like a tree and LEAVE ASAP!!!!

Ours hate the rain too. I agree with everyone else, we go out with them if it's raining. Actually, we leash them and bring them to the front yard because although our backyard is fenced in, it gets awfully muddy when it rains. Maybe a change or scenery would help??

I know this is a late response... But the next day, it was still raining and for some, very strange reason she decided to just go ahead and do her buisness faster than I could run with her! lmao.

I guess it was on her own terms. Silly Sadie.

I used an umbrella with Jaxon and squatted down and waited him out. Cold wet business but it worked. He goes out in the rain now. Good luck Oh and he was on leash so he couldnt run off.
