Default barking in crate

hi BF im new to the site and tried searching here and on google to see if I could find an answer but I didn't find anything because its kind of opposite of what one might expect. I have a almost 5 month old boxer named maxx. I have been training maxx since I got him when he was 8 weeks old. Maxx has been crate training since I first got him and has been seeing a personal trainer for about 6 weeks now. honestly, dog trainers are really here to train me not the dog LOL..anyways. Maxx is a great dog..hes tries to dominate me a bit sometimes but I have been working very hard with him since I got him to really have a great boxer. He knows the sit stay and Im working on lie down with him. My issue comes in when he is in the crate and I am in the room where he cannot get to me, he barks and barks and barks and barks and barks. Its worse then nails on a chalkboard. I have been ignoring it but I am not seeing any changes in his behavior. When I used to work from 9 to 6pm I would take him out for long walks after work and walk him at lunch. About 9pm I would put him in his crate shut the light off and leave the room, then slip in quietly and go to bed. Now I am at a new job and I get off at 10pm so I have a neighbor come in and walk him at lunch and when she ges home, but now the barking is starting at 1 to 2am..and that's way to late for this. sorry for the long story. I realize that barking while im gone can be separation anxiety but only barking when I am actually in the room..im the stimulus for this..how do I get this to stop...I need to sleep without waking the neighbors

hes telling you he needs more Quality time with you although some boxers are just sass pots I know I have one I would leave him out of his crate as much as possible and have a long play session when you got home and not put him to bed until you go to bed
