Sighing

Hey everyone,

So, we've had Duke for almost 9 weeks now. He's quite calm for the mostpart when he's inside and we don't get him riled up. Outside is an entirely different matter! lol

Anyhow, my question is about sighing. I've noticed he does this quite a lot, mostly in the evening after the kids have gone to bed and everything is quiet. Is he bored? Tired? What's all the sighing about?? lol

Oh mine sigh. It's just something they do. Rusty does it when he's tired or didn't get his way

lol Yes sometimes he does it after he's been scolded but most of the time he just does it for no apparent reason. But it's usually when everything is calm and quiet so he's probably just tired. I just worry that he's bored! lol

Oh its just the dramatism coming out of them lol

Big sighs over here too... most of the time its because he's content

Mine's a big sigher as well, I especially like the big sighs that make the jowels flap like a cartoon character

hee hee hee...my boys are BIG sighers too...especially when things are quiet in the evenings and it just the hubby, myself and the boxer kids. Titan also sighs when getting ready for his walks and getting ready to get out of the car; they can be so dramatic - it is true!

Pheona sighs when she lays down at night or after getting in trouble for something. Murphy sighs shortly before she closes her eyes to go to sleep. Maggie used to sigh at different times through out the day.

Maggie sighs a lot at night after a good play and she's sprawled across my lap. Seems like a "all is good with my world" kinda sigh.

. She also does it after turning about 5 circles in bed under the comforter and plops down next to me. Heehee
