I will have to look at that tomorrow when we go to Petsmart. I just want to get some different opinions on some. Of course we are going to try them out before we buy. Was looking at some online tonight & saw one where the review was from a person walking a chihuahua. I don't see them as being pullers like a bigger breed dog.

Petsmart has "easy walk" harnesses that clip in the front and help to prevent pulling. That's what our dogs wore for a while before they learned heel.

Some dogs require a harness bc of their neck/head shape. Like penny is a min pin, long kinda thick neck and small head. So a collar would never work on her. She's by no means a puller. I bought Wyatt a collar which was a waste bc he won't walk unless theirs two people and his harness now is slightly too big, but the size down was going to be too small... Wyatt hates walks anyways:-(

Nikki's harness has a ring in the front and on the back. The back is for dragging the leash around... playing, training and the retractable leashes. The front is for walking to stop pulling. It is what the trainer recommended.

When I walk my boys individually they are fine, but together they downgrade to just ok. They wont pull until they see a squirrel, cat, another dog, or somebody they know. So we went and got the easy walk harness, it does a great job. Like I said, the boys don't pull until they get overly excited and even then its just until they remember their manners. But this saves them from throat irritation and now the kids can walk them too, without me worrying about what will happen when they see a squirrel, cat, another dog, or somebody they know.
