So I'm having an issue with Frankie and potty training. He's being crated at night and he holds it fine and goes outside when I take him. We have a doggy door and he goes out of it and back in to poop but he still is peeing everywhere. I take him out after naps and play and after he eats and he seems to know to go out when I say let's potty cause he goes for the door but I'm not understanding why he's still peeing inside. He's 12 wks old now so is this just a young puppy thing that he'll grow out of? Any help and advise is greatly appreciated

I take him out about every 30 minutes or so. It doesn't seem to matter though. He'll potty outside come in and 2 minutes later potty inside. He can't possibly be marking already can he?

You also have to make sure to mark the behavior (peeing and pooing in a specific spot) with a high value treat and praise (if you are not doing that already). Once the pup figures out that it can exchange pee and poo for treats, if it does its business in a specific spot, it will make a bee line for it over time. If accidents happen, make sure you clean the mess with a enzyme cleaner (like Natures Miracle). And 12 weeks is very young, it will take atleast a few more months for your pup to be completely house trained.
