Monte, my 3 year old boxer dumps his food out of the bowl before he eats, we just changed his food to grain free and now he eats out of the bowl. Anybody know why he does this?

Maybe it was his way of saying he preferred something else?

One of my pups will take mouthfuls of food and drop it on the rug or couch before eating. I think he wants to be comfy.

Mine drop pieces as they chew but will always gobble it back up after they've finished what is in the bowl. My parents had a dog that would actually pick up her dish & carry it into the living room & proceed to lay down and eat. It was quite funny.

Buster carrys his kibble to the other room mouthful by mouthful before he will eat any of it silly pup but he does do a great job cleaning it all up

Penny will only eat in her crate. When she's done you better get the bowl out because it will promptly be flipped over and dumped out.

Zeus will chomp chomp chomp.. walk around.. sniff around.. drop food out of his mouth.. and back to his bowl..he is quite a messy eater lol..
