That's a great idea. Especially for when you go to friend's. * *Voltaire get's the run of my house even when i'm out. He respects the fact that he's not allowed in the bedrooms. But sometimes he's hyper when i have guests so your idea is a good one.

Those look great, I had heard of them but never saw them in practical use, thanks for posting the info with the pictures.

I tell you, I am finding more and more that an x-pen is a great way to go...You can do so much more with it..I really wish I had thought to use this sooner And Nan is right, by not stretching it out totally, make it more an accordian, a lot sturdier and for some reason, my 2 seem to respect it more

WOW! that's great....it looks like what my breeder is using. It's especially great for when people visit and some are not dog people (we don't let many of them visit ) so that way our babies can still move around comfortably.

Nan suggested a 48" I believe..Mine is 42", plenty tall enuf, by keeping it accordian style, neither of mine are brave enuf to try anything Plus it does make it sturdier

mine is a mere 32 inches high, but my dogs were well trained to accept barriers (the crate and baby gates)across doorways first. They also were taught to "in Car" "in house" in bedroom" etc. by using a hand passed in front of their face and saying the "in----" command. It is like a stay, but means to stay behind that area.
