Hi everyone,
My name is Deb and I'm the proud owner (or owned by..lol) a beautiful white boxer girl who was born on 9/11. She's now a senior at 9 yrs of age, but you would never guess it by how she looks and acts. She was a rescue who came from a very terrible home. Her first 18 months were spent chained to the kitchen table of a stripper/druggie and was only rescued when the table broke, landed on her, breaking her leg. When she was taken into the Vet, he would not release her back as she was obviously abused and neglected. She was also badly emaciated, weighing around 25 lbs. It's a wonder she even survived, but she did and she has known nothing but complete love and acceptance since coming into my home just shy of her 2nd birthday. I also have a 5 yr old male pug who also came from an abusive home, and he also came to me at 2 yrs of age. My boxer girl and my little pug are the absolute best of pals and one would think they had been raised together from birth. I look forward to getting involved in the forums and getting to know my fellow boxer lovers. ~D
