One thing I wonder is besides getting something from the vet (which I will do when I take them for their check up) does anyone know any home remedies for keeping ticks off the dogs.
I take Lucy for two long walks everyday and we have a large farm with plenty of deer and she picked up alot last week when it was so warm. Another thing is I was told Lucy needed to be on puppy food because she was so thin which she has, but now I am told that I need to get an allergy food for Brandy because she scratches - anyone have any idea what would be the best to feed them both? Thanks, Katrina |

Just thought I would update Brandy arrived Tuesday and she and Lucy get along very well so I worried for nothing.
Brandy is very thin and very, very timid she hides behind me anytime she hears a noise or one of my sons come in the house and if I am not available she hides behind Lucy. I was lucky though she is eating (never seen a dog eat like she does) and going to the bathroom with no problems - so it all begins, but I am very pleased with my doggies |

Hi fellow Boxer Canadian fans, I am new to the boxer breed and to this forum, so it is nice to find some people like minded. We are moving to Ontario soon from Nova Scotia. Ontario is my home town.

Yes it definitely sounds like Lucy is protecting her home! Congrats on the additions to your boxer family! And so good of you to give them a lovign forever home.
I too hope to rescue boxers (and dogs in general) one day... we're hoping to move into a house with a larger yard further up in the country within the next 4 years. *fingers crossed* that it happens! |
