Default Our new girl - Sandy

I have a little history with this girl. She was with a local boxer rescue group and in boarding at the vet's office this past summer being treated for ringworm. I volunteered to walk her and give her some TLC while she was there a few days a week. I loved her right from the get-go, but my husband wanted a bigger dog (She is only 40-45 lbs). She recovered from ringworm and went to a different foster home for a few months. The foster family was going to adopt her, but realized after some time that she would play too rough for their 7 year old boxer. The rescue posted on facebook that they needed a new foster home for her.

The timing worked out great for us and to my suprise my hubby agreed we could foster her. After about a week, we had to bring her to some adoption events for the rescue. My hubby say "but then someone else might adopt her" and I respond "yup, that's the idea". We had a heart-to-heart and both agreed we could never let her go. She was home already!!!

Here are a few pictures of Sandy:

Awwww...Congrats on Sandy & Welcome from TX. Sandy is just beautiful. This is what worries me down the road about fostering. I get attached to my fur babies.
