Welcome to the forum. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss but I can totally understand how you got attached so quickly. Boxers have a way of taking hold of your heart! I'm so happy to hear that you were able to rescue baby Zeus! He is beautiful. Enjoy him

So happy for you! Thank you for giving a shelter dog a chance and a forever home. So sorry about your puppy. I know how easy it is to get attached, especially when you are their mother, friend, and nursemaid. You develop a closeness overnight it seems when you are their lifeline in such situations. Zeus is a beautiful boy.

Thank you for the warm welcome! We went on our first walk last night, I would guess around two miles or so. He was still ready to play when we got back. It went very well though. He is going to be such a good boy.
I bought him his own bed last night but he still prefers the couch, gonna have to work on that. This morning I found him curled up in our Pug's bed, I wanted to take a pic but he got up as soon as he saw me. |

I thought I would share some photos/videos (last 3) from our first week. He went to my parents house with us for my Neice's birthday. It was nice to let him off the leash and play (we live in town) He loved the ducks but couldn't figure out how to get to them..lol

Welcome and thanks SO much for adopting a shelter dog. Im sorry about you're lil pup, its easy to get attached, but I agree it was meant to be
