As far as going for walks. I absolutely do not recommend taking him for extended walks outside your property until after all his series of shots have been given. Parvo runs ramped in this city. Lots and lots of people don't vaccinate their pets. The reason they require so many Parvo shots is that puppies initially have immunity through their mothers but will eventually lose the immunity. At what week they loose it is unknown. They also have to build up titers to the vaccine. Just because they have one or two shots does not mean they cannot get Parvo and are fully protected. That being said, socialization between 8-12 weeks is extremely important. I would introduce him to other dogs who know are fully vaccinated and people as much as possible. Maybe enroll him in a puppy class where you have gotten the info all puppies are well and going thru vaccines just as you are. I do regret not socializing our guy more. He is so sweet and loves everyone- people and dogs, but he is terrified of his own shadow.
