Thank you for the compliments. Otis is the best dog we have ever had. He loves all animals. The cat that chases Jase sleeps with Otis when he decides to sleep in the house. We live in the country on a dead end road so he sleeps outside most of the time. I do have a couple of questions. Jase seems to sleep a lot, sleeps 1 1/2 or 2 hours, awake maybe 45 minutes. Is that normal? He has slept through the night for the last 3 nights, 10 - 5am. The first 2 nights he was up every 3 hours so I took him out and sure enough, he had to pee. The other question, he was on dog chow from the people we got him from and still is. Its seems he doesn't like it much. If I forget to pick up Otis' bowl, he gets to it and gobbles it up. Otis eats TOTW and I have bought the puppy TOTW for Jase to change him over. Do you think it would be OK to start transitioning him over slowly?

Very cute! Once you feel the puppy is comfortable and settled in your home, I'd definitely switch the puppy to TOTW slowly (at least 2 weeks; slower if you notice loose poo). Puppy chow is nasty stuff!

Yes it's normal for them to sleep so much. When I first got Nikki I was googling it because I was worried something might be wrong. She was only 5 pounds when she was 8 wks. And I'm a worrier

So beautiful! I just love him! Yeah Frankie was like that when she was a baby (only awake for an hour or so before needing a sleep). I think it is just because they are a high energy dog, they burn it quickly and when they are babies they need their rest
