Default Hello from Rainy PA

Hi all, Im new to the forum & just wanted to say HI & Happy Holidays to everyone. I'm a mom to a 5 month old boxer pup & life with him is CRAZY! but in a good way...never a dull moment. It's hard to believe Axel is 5 mo old. I remember getting him at 8wks. He's come a long way. We currently have him in puppy classes...although not sure who's doing more learning... myself or the dog! Axel is currently in the 'chewing' on everything stage. So being a new boxer owner I'm open to any thoughts, suggestions, advice or experiences anyone has!

Hello and welcome! :] ahh wonderful chewing phase...Rosco turned out not to be a big chewer but for us rawhides and bones and them cow hooves and stuff like that worked and will still work for him. I got him a giant 3ft rawhide candy cane for Christmas, it's hung on the mantle, he cat stop watching it lol. Anyway, any questions you have, don't be shy to ask, most of us have all been there!

Hello and welcome from pa also! I believe I may have met you guys at the dog park about a month ago...? I remember a cute little boxer pup named axel! If not, what part of pa are you from?

My suggestion for the chewing phase is bully sticks! Wyatt will sit down for hours with one of the braided ones and chew and chew! Also not sure how great these are but we just discovered the red barn sterilized bones. We bought one at petco on sat and he's prob worked on that knuckle bone for 30 hours so far!
