Torch is very handsome, not sure about his color though. For it to be brindle you should be able to see some striping even if it's faint. A very dark brindle with not a lot of striping is generally called a reverse brindle
Are those Orange trees in the background? They look delicious Welcome to the forum from NJ |

Hi & Welcome from TX. Torch is handsome. He looks to me like a reverse seal brindle. That is what my Murphy is. I get a lot of people approach me referring to her as a lab or others who can tell she's a boxer refer to her as "a rare black boxer". Well there is no such thing as a black boxer. LOL

Handsome boy - welcome to the forum! He looks to be a reverse brindle (the black stripes are more prominent than the fawn color, but there are hints of fawn, especially in the sun). There are no pure black boxers.
My boxer, Dempsey, is the total opposite. He hardly has any brindling (black) at all - some on his head, legs, and a smear on each side. |

Yes,reversed seal brindled, you can clearly see it in the 1st picture.
Granted, some have more black, some have more of the other colors found in reverse sealed brindled, there seem to be variations Either way,he looks awesome! Welcome!
