Hi everyone, I am a Boxer owner for the first time with a 2 year old Boxer Service Dog for Mobility.
He is huge, 27.5 inches at the shoulder and 100 pounds, I have had several porblems with allergies, to bees, lumps removed, and growths, that have had to be removed, as well as finding out that he is hypothyroid. WOW, may last dog was a German Shepperd, and this has totaly shocked me. He has been on a grainfree diet his whole life, and is very healthy other than the examples I have given. Is it normal for a male Boxer to get this big? |

Boxers are suppose to be a medium breed. The CKC standard says that males should not exceed 25inches so your male is quite tall.
I have seen some very large boxers but typically males do not exceed 75lbs. I would love to see a picture of your boy Everything else you listed are known issues with this breed, allergies, lumps/bumps and thyroid issues.
