Hes been with us for a whole week now and we all love him to bits.; He settled in really well loves my three children and has just made best friends with the smalleset of my three cats they follow each other everywhere. Hes eating really well sleeping great throughout the nights in his bed not one night of whimpering up till now. Finding the toilet training a bit difficult though was wondering if any of you could please offer me some tips .x |

Hi I'm new on here too but also from the uk. I have a 7 month brindle box bitch. She is great with the kids too. Thinks she's one of them.
When we were training her we found it difficult, we went to puppy classes and they told us that when she wet or pooed on the matt, we were to start moving the matt to outside where she would eventually be going. We started doing it and it eventually worked. We are now getting a white boxer bitch on Saturday, half sister. And the breeder has also told us the same way to train this puppy. Although this is a good site for lots of advice from people on here. Good luck. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

Take puppy out as much as possible. The first few weeks my girls came home they went outside about every 30 minutes.
Take puppy out right after naps, feeding and drinks. It helped lots. Look for their cues that they have to go and run outside with them. There were many times i ran out with a puppy with disheveled hair and no shoes! I find that those pee pads are a waste of time because you teach them to use those and then you have to teach them to go outside. Its double the work. Invest in natures miracle. Its a product that eliminates the odour that can be bought at any pet store. Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |
