I am a new Boxer mom!

I wanted to say hello and show off my new baby girl, Muriel. She came home last Thursday and is a little over 8 weeks old. I used this forum for info while making the decision to purchase a Boxer and some good direction for raising a new puppy. Thank you for such an informative site!

PS Notice the circles under my eyes lol

Awe she is gorgeous I can't wait till tomorrow. We're getting a white pup too already got a brindle one at 7 months. This is her half sister 😄😄

Thank you so much for the kind welcome. She slept through the night last night for the first time since we brought her home

I feel like a new woman. I was lying in bed at 6am listening for her soft snoring or her breathing and couldn't hear anything. I got up and went to the restroom and thought for sure she'd wake. She did not. I thought 'omg is she dead?' I took the blanket off of the crate and she is just curled up asleep lol. I remember putting my hand on my human babies' backs to check that they were breathing. I guess some things never change.

She chews on me constantly even though I try to redirect her attention to toys. She just goes around the toy and chomps me. I have read here and other places that you just have to ride it out and it will get better. She caught my lip last night and drew blood. She didn't mean to but boy is it tiresome.

I have a question about Bully Sticks. Is she too young to have one and if not, what specific one would be best for her. She doesn't like her Kong toys even when stuffed with food (she is not at all food motivated) and she won't chew her nylabone. Just me and soft toys. Any suggestions?
