First off congrats on your new pup.
6 weeks is so young to be away from mom and siblings .. what happened? 3lbs at 6 weeks.. that sounds very small to me. I would have him checked right away!! How were the other pups in the litter? are they all tiny like that? |

Welcome! Yes 6 weeks is very young to be away from mom and the litter. 3 lbs is very small. Daisy was 3 lbs and Duke 5 lbs when I brought them home, but they had Parvo and we got them from a BYB (bad idea). Have you gone to the vet yet?

Hi & welcome!! 6 weeks is young. We got our Pheona at a young age & she was 2 pounds. I gave her puppy milk supplement & then did a mush with dog kibble. Keep an eye on him.

Hello! Thanks for all the help, I did take him to the vet yesterday and he is now almost 5 lbs and is growing quick. I did do the puppy mash with the formula supplement for the last week and it has really seemed to help. I got him as so young from a byb because when I saw him I felt really bad for him. He was the last one and the runt which is why he is so small. The vet said he is healthy and happy and we are in the process of switching his puppy mash to BLUE grain free puppy food! The pic is of him at 4 weeks.
