Hi, I am Brenda. I just rescued our first Boxer or Boxer cross. She passed for a purebred today but those markings tell me she has queensland or something. She is extremely thin, healing from her spaying, and the sweetest dog or one of the sweetest dog I've ever met. I'm looking foward to getting advice on proper care of her(not sure if Boxers are all that much different care wise then any other breed). I still need a name for her, I have been calling her Zeena or Zee when I'm lazy lol!! Also been thinking about the name Nadia. I just don't know. I do know that she was at the shelter for 30 days and it was comfirmed today that she probably would of been euthenized as soon as another intake would come in considering all their kennels were full. I'm just happy to have her.

Oh I posted pics on the rescue portion of the group my photobucket is being a pain and keeps freezing my computer. I'm a photography student so once she is better and puts on weight be expecting tons of pics.

It is a small world! He lives near the University. I have been to Alamogordo many times - to the rocket museum etc. and to White Sands. He also has a cabin in Cloudcroft.

Have you picked a name for your girl yet? She is beautiful!

Thanks everyone and I guess Zeena is sticking, we are calling her Zee for short or Z lol if I'm to lazy to type it all out. Thats why we went with that spelling insted of the Xena spelling. It is definately a small world, were here for the military so not sure how long we will be staying tho we have been here 4yrs.
