New to site and Boxer ownership

Hello all first time caller....lol

We have a brand new baby boy Boxer we named "Baxter" i am a first time dog owner and have always loved the look and behaviour of the Boxer since i can remember.My wife has owned several dogs (before me).l was going to buy a bulldog originaly but after doing research on the health and behaviour it wasnt a good fit for my family.We have a nice size yard and close to beautiful parks with dykes and lakes and mountain settings in the city we live in,so we are very lucky (a dogs dream).We love camping and fishing.These are the reasons i chose to buy a boxer for the family.A great protector for my 5 year old daughter (only child) a great family dog and great with babies (my brother has 2 babies at home and we visit alot).How can you go wrong with a Boxer lol.We look forward to finding great information and meeting others with the beautiful Boxer dog.More pic's to come he is only 4 weeks old and probably younger in this pic from our breeder.More pics to come when we get him......VERY EXCITED....Great site.....
