The litter was checked out by the local vet and he didn't catch it. We drive over an our to our vet because they are awesome! So right now our plan is to have him checked again next week and then at 4 months and go from there.

The breeder offered to buy him back/trade for later puppy but he already has my heart. They wrote me a check and apologized for not having caught it. I just plan on loving him for the rest of my life, no matter how long his is.

Laila is fit as a fiddle.
3 litters is a pretty good amount. What I'm trying to say is that Lennox could be one of many dogs they could produce in the future that ends up with a heart problem. This is why thoroughly health testing (not a vet check up) before breeding is so important. If they had done an echo and holter before breeding or just have not bred, this could have been avoided.

I would really encourage you to read these.

Welcome from Texas. I have a Layla and Lennox also. They are a handful for sure. I hope Lennox is ok with just monitoring. Keep an eye on his murmur. You've got some beautiful furbabies

And then I would have never had the privilege of being Lennox's Mommy for how ever long that may be.

They are great breeders with a great reputation in our area and I trust that they have done their homework. They are far from a puppy mill. So enough on that note.
