I've been on forums like that before... not for very long usually... sometimes I don't even get past the 'enter a username' stage before someone's emailing me asking if I'm going to cause trouble.

I think some forums choose mods who have really really pathetic terrible existences and power-tripping on a forum makes them feel better. More commonly though, they start 'cliquing' and shun outsiders... sorta like the motorcycle forum who's admins/mods would delete my posts and send me nasty PM's because I was calling out one of their friends who ripped me off for $80 (a cop no less...).

Hee hee, I was banned from "that" site also. They said I was too political - and all I asked was how did everyone like the Obama's new dog - geez - I don't think he belongs to a party - he's a dog. Maybe it was because he isn't a boxer. Now that I've seen on here a couple different times how many others were banned, I consider it a badge of honor. We should have T Shirts = " I was banned from -----------------

We do not discriminate against anyone here. Everyone is welcome as long as they follow the rules. It doesn't matter if you live in a tent or a mansion. It doesn't matter if you do not have a job or are or a executive director or a big company... We are all here for the same reason and that is BOXERS. No matter what your status is, ALL are welcome here. I do admit, different forums have different feels to them though. Some are more strict than others, some are more informative than others, some are more friendly than others, some have more people that are involved in canine sports or conformation. It just all depends on where you feel comfortable at. But just know.. The staff here will NEVER judge you by your personal status nor allow anyone else to express such things. Everyone is always welcome here as long as you follow the rules

I only know of two popular boxer forums. Thats this one and another(which is a very well known forum, and on their forums page its greyish blue with 3 brindle boxers lol) are the only ones I see. Well these are the two most popular that I know of. I agree I really like this forum. People are very friendly here minus the couple here and there. Lol. I like our little community of boxers and boxer lovers. It gives me a place to go and talk about BOXERS. None of my family or friends have or care for boxers(not that they don't like them), they all have small dogs. Shih-tzus, yorkies, pomeranians,whippets.
They obviously don't know the real joy of boxers! lol.

i was blocked for posting a boxer bash for the ohio boxer rescue on there and inviting people to come down and support rescue and have fun!!!
