Default Help Choosing the Right Puppy

thank you for that.i wouldnt want to breed from my boxer and i know i cannot have a boxer until i know some of their background(i like to know thats all) but i have found a lady who is happy for me to have her boxer bitch puppy white, and there are no endorsments on the pup.do you think this is irresponsible then?the pup is the only pup left although all the pups are still with their mother at the moment and i am wondering if i should just steer clear?
i already own two rotts so i am more than capable of training knowing about exersise in a young puppy socialisation skills ect ect but as i have no idea about white boxers it would devistate my family knowing we've made the wrong choice as this pup looks healthy and of course id have her vet checked (mostly to let her meet my vet(ian) )my rotts DRAG me into the vets so i should be ok there lol
anyway i want to make the right choice so i will be viewing lots of litters before i make my choice but i am now worried now knowing what i have read on the internet.
I do not intend to mess breeders around with me sitting there cooing over puppies but i really do want to make the right choice.for all the right reasons.
also,i think im stuck now as i would love to have a go at showing my pup.my rotts dont like it and are happier with agility so if i cannot SHOW my boxer maybe id better chose a different colour?
oh what have i got myself into

If you would like to get into showing, then I would do definitely do some more research. Go to shows and talk to some of the breeders, see if you can find a mentor that can help you learn more.

Definitely do more research on the breed before getting a boxer, especially if you want to get into showing. White boxers cannot be shown.

I would start communicating with the breeders of dogs that are involved in and doing well in shows. Seek their opinions and advice and form a relationship before showing interest in anyone's particular dogs. Look at pictures of the parents and grandparents. Figure out what you like and what you don't like. Once you know what you want and you find a particular dog or breeder that you like, don't settle for anything less. Just my opinion if you plan on doing shows! Good luck!
