Default Joubert's Boxer Barn???........

I have ran across their website while researching (exhausting) for imported UK boxers. They are based out of Eunice, LA. I didn't see anything on their site about health testing. Am curious to know if any of you have experience or knowledge of these breeders......
Thanks,
Eddie

IMO, I have seen their site and do know of their dogs. They post many of litters for sale on many of the BYB sites. I know the line of one of their stud dogs, but I would for the prices they charge look at other breeders that are know for their eithics and breeding practices. Get better quality for about the same amount of coin.

Some breeders to look into if you are looking for a UK lined pup are

Mirak Boxers - Jowhar http://www.mirakboxers.com

Kti Jensen @ global boxer - http://www.globalboxers.com

Katherine Nevis @ Minstrel Boxers http://www.minstrelboxers.com/

Alisha Mobley & Shaeward Boxers -http://shaeward.tripod.com/

Kat Medcalf - Fairview Boxers - http://www.fairviewboxer.com/ (she hasa UK girl she will be breeding in the future)

Also one of my mentors Jess Kozel - http://www.lemkoboxers.com owns Harley who is a UK Stud and may know any planned breedings for him.

Jennifer Walker - Newcastle has UK lined dogs and may know some contact info on any upcoming UK litters in the US http://www.newcastleboxers.com (she is also a member here).

Heather, as always you are nothing but help and I appreciate that. I have looked at most of these sites and read a lot of the posts concerning these breeders and am impressed by them. Perhaps most in my mind was Kti. I had spoken to her last time you and I talked about this as well. It was bad timing for Kti and I as I was on vacation and it was nothing short of impossible to find a land line phone or cell signal. Perhaps I should give her a call in the near future and touch base with her again. I am most impressed by the knowledge of Jennifer at Newcastle but alas I didn't see any breeding's last time I looked at her site. I have looked at lemko as well. I just assumed he would kind of be out of my price range I am willing to spend on a pet pup. I will contact him though.
Once again you are nothing but help so thank you.

Honestly, some of the breeders I have listed are under $1500.00 for a pet puppy - (limited reg) for full import lines . Boxer Barn charges $2200 which IMO is a rip off. I do know the lines of their Stud "Luger" as the owner of Lugar's sire in Serbia is a good friend of mine. However other than that, I don't see any health testing nor any other perks to spend $2200.00.

I am not planning on breeding at all, however, if a pup displays the characteristics well I would like to have that option for myself. the 2200.00 is for full registration as compared to the 1500 for the limited ie; s/n contract right?

Well, IMO if you are going to get a dog with Full reg and want to keep your option open, then I would def look at ones that are health tested - just more insurance for your big time purchase.

Ok, will PM you the contact info for that breeder.
