I read that book its a good one I got it 8 years ago when I got my first boxer duke (RIP) at the time I was getting everything I could on boxers to learn more about them
Hahahaha. I laughed out loud at that.
I have not read it but Amazon always pushes that book on me and I'm like noooo I don't want it. I bought "The Boxer" by Sheila Webster Boneham when I first got Rosco and it was very informational.
I got that and a few others from the library to prepare me for Mabyn.. Sort of skimmed through it after reading the first chapter which describes in depth why I don't want a boxer lol
Basically a lot of stuff I already knew so decided to just return the books and wing it. She is my second dog but first puppy, figured since she would be my bf's third puppy I would learn a lot from him but it turns out nothing can prepare you for a boxer puppy. Spending time with her has taught me more than a book could.
I found that a lot of the information that was in it has been covered in several posts and stickies on this forum and the rest can be found online if you don't mind searching.
