Such a tiny cage for the poor creature?

Is there no way to let a boxer run free in an apartment without him taking the place apart? I'm thinking maybe the bathroom if I absolutely have to leave him home alone.

How old is your pup? Stay consistent. Work your way from an hour and add small amounts of time. We used to fill a kong with some treats when we left to keep Sid occupied for a little. You could try one of the plastic crates. It may be a safer alternative since he was able to destroy the wires.

i like the plastice crates much better, i assume it makes them feel more safe, like they are in a den. Justice hated his with a passion when we first started crate training.. now he doesnt mind it so much, i just hate keeping him in it as much as i need to. he has been crated since 8 weeks, he is now 1 year old

I agree, get a plastic crate. How big is your dog, that crate looks rather small.

I also like the plastic crates that kennel was rated for 70lbs its one I got him when he was a puppy he is 60ish pounds now he was only ever in it at night when he would go in it and sleep on his own...

Only reason he was in it that day for a few hours was me and the wife's work schedule overlapped with the holidays...
Also the rest of the house was just peachy he was sleeping on the couch lol he is 9 months old
