Talk about reverse brindle's I know of a bitch that just whelped 11 pup's a few days ago. 9 reverse and two regular brindle. How's that for being brindle dominant.

Leo is gorgeous! This is our youngest, Bandit. One is when he was a puppy and the other was sometime last year. I'd say he's a flashy (maybe sealed) reverse brindle based on the little I know about what to call their coloring. I say maybe sealed because from the side you can see his stripes for the most part, but his back looks almost solid black.

We have a flashy fawn and a flashy brindle too. I personally prefer the darker, brindle or reverse brindle...but I'd take a healthy boxer of any color!

No truer words "But I'd take a healthy Boxer of any color" They will all have a wonderful personality. The color is just Gods art work.

Yes, I agree!

All the dogs shown in this thread are gorgeous! I have developed a real soft spot for the reverse brindles.

My previous boxer was a handsome flashy fawn. My current boxer is a sealed brindle. I have also heard his coloration referred to as "sealed reverse brindle", so for those who know, please correct me if I am wrong. He appears completely black with white markings. You can only see a bit of subtle dark chocolate coloring in a few spots on the Very brightest of sunny days. I had never seen one this dark until he came into our family.

Yes- they could be litter mates. I think Kai got all the calm and Bandit got all the crazy!

My previous male was a reverse brindle, he did look black but when the sun would shine on him he would have a brown hue to his coat. He was a gorgeous boy I love the color the sire to the two dogs I have now is reverse brindle my fawn female has some black hair mixed in on her coat its interesting you have to look to see them..
