Oh I agree it should not have gotten so ugly..They would not drop it. They backed me in a corner. Sorry to say I will not be updating about her on here. I am not coming back on here again after this. I am on a much less judgmental forum that was very supportive of what I had to do. For the best interest of the dog and my other critters.

Just like the lady that posted above you. Some people on here are to quick to judge others. I guess she feels since I had to find my female a new home that I should not now love on the one Boxer I have left. He is helping me to get through this with his smooch sweet face. He is here now beside me. We are giving each other much needed comfort from a rough day.

Oh please..I am judging your words...I am judging you on here fighting back and forth with strangers when you had to do what would be thought of a very difficult thing..I in no way said you should not love on your other boxer..please do not put words in my posts I didn't say..I hope he helps you but I saw no need to say you are going to go love on your much adored boxer now..I am entitled to an opinion and I gave it.

What matters is that she found a home, and that is what every single member on this forum wanted to hear. There's no need to get so defensive when others express genuine interest in the welfare of your Boxer.
"they would not drop it" makes no sense to me. It takes two to tango!

I am glad she found a home, sorry to see a member leave. Can we all keep in mind that we are very different people with very different beliefs, that are bound by our passion for boxers? A few people have been leaving lately, and it's sad.
Why is everything taken so personal? Multiple people offered out of the goodness of their hearts to give her a loving home, though unwilling to pay for her, and you were sooo offended by that. THAT is why people wonder if it was about the money, or the home. You did not need to beg for help, they were simply there and willing. I would be absolutely HONORED and TOUCHED if I ever had any kind of issue with Annie and a member of this forum offered her a good home. It is beyond me how that can in any way, shape, or form be offensive. I would in a heartbeat put my little girl on a plane to EITHER of the members who offered to take your girl if keeping her was not an option.

There are TWO sides to every story, and just because you can't see the other side, doesn't mean you have to get defensive, take your ball, and stomp out of the game. (this is a generic "you") If you feel good about what you did, and your girl has a home you feel confident in, then nothing else should matter. Yes, people will disagree. (lets be honest. A rehoming fee is usually in the ballpark of $50, so to many $250 to rehome a dog is going to rub people the wrong way on ANY forum, not just this one)

I for one and happy that the dog found a home. Can't we just leave it at that? Once again another locked thread!
