This is my 2 year old daughter with duke her best friend duke has cancer and we have decided the amount of surgery he would need and at his age the vet thinks it would just be to much...
It is heart breaking he has about 3 months the vet figures and we are making the best of every minute of it we can with him....

Second pic is of our new puppy axle he is a fawn we picked him out and payed for him before we knew about duke some times i feel bade like i am replaicing duke..
But at the same time i know i gave him the best life he could ever have

I'm so sorry to hear about Duke. These things are hard but it's worth it when Duke has brought his family so much joy and more so to your daughter. You can think of it this way. The new pup Axle and your daughter will have time to bond before Duke crosses the rainbow bridge. Hopefully it will make it easier for her. Everything happens for a reason. Maybe that's why Axle came into your lives, to help you all deal with the pain. Duke can't be replaced and you won't forget him. And Axle needs a good loving family. Hugs and prayers for you, your family, Duke and Axle.
