Default not for a boxer but my dad needs help with raw

So long story short my loser brother dropped his white lab on my dads door step and said take him or I am taking him to the pound...

He is a white lab and is very loving problem is he has the worst food allergies I have ever seen grain free food does nothing for him...
He has lost about 50% of his fur we had him tested for mange 3 times did skin samples.
And all came back negative, my dad is so impressed after 2 weeks of axle being on raw it has opened his eyes and wants to try it and see if it clears his problems up...

So about the dog he is 2 years old and weighs roughly 62 pounds so when doing the switch can he do 2 feedings a day of 2% of his weight or should it be more then that...
He will be starting the same way I did axle chicken leg quarters skin off for 2 weeks I told him to fast him for 24 hours and chicken broth only but does that also mean no water...

I want to post pictures of him and keep this thread updated so you can all see the progress he also has goop eyes every morning so bad he needs to use a warm cloth to clean them his ears are full of yeast as are his paws...

Any help you can all provide would be great like I said I am going to get pictures of this so we can so him week by week his improvements

2 % of 62 pounds is 1.24 pounds or basically 20 ounces I believe.
So that 20 ounces is divided in half and he should get 10 ounces twice a day.

Then I think you adjust that up or down depending on if he's gaining or losing too much weight. That's assuming he's at a good weight to start??
I know labs can be a bit chunky cause they'll eat anything and everything.

You seem to be right on track. If he is very yeasty I would rinse his ears out with a 50/50 mixture of apple cider vinegar and warm water every day for 7 days. Massage thoroughly and after he is done shaking the liquid out take paper towel and dry them out the best you can.

Pictures of this poor boy would really help. It sounds like he is rampant with yeast all over his body too. I would give him a bath with a hypo- allergenic shampoo and then after rinsing him really really well I would spritz his entire body with the same 50/50 apple cider water mixture. Do not towel him off or rinse him. You want to leave that vinegar/water on his coat until it dries. He will smell like French fries until it dries but then it disappears.

Do this vinegar rinse for 6 more days. Just the rinse not the shampoo.

You will also want to get a good probiotic. Primal Defence is a good one. Give one capsule morning and night with his food. The probiotics will balance the stomach and kill the yeast from the inside out.

You can start the probiotics right away with his skinless chicken.

Thank you Keri I am going to have my dad snap some pics and send them to me when he gets home he is such a nice dog but my brother is a dick and gave him the short end of the stick....

He has lost all the fur from like his groin up around his butt half of his tail and up his back...

And my dad being a normal pet owner was just doing what the vet told him to and that was science diet go figure and now seeing my axle on raw he feels like this could be the turn around for him
