Default Switching Food

Roxy is 9 months and one week. We had her on purina puppy chow until two months ago. She stopped eating the purina puppy chow so we transitioned her to the kibble we had been using instead of treats. We switched her over 5 days and she has had runny poops ever since. I've done lots of research and have decided to feed her 4health grain free turkey and potato. We are transitioning her over in 10 days this time. My question is, since she already has runny poop every time she goes, his soon after transitioning should she start having solid poops? If she does continue to have runny poops, how long do I let that continue on the 4health before switching? Thank you!

If she already has liquid poops than I would just switch her to the 4health cold turkey. Give a day of fasting, then cook hamburger and rice for her for several days. Once her stools are solid, slowly introduce the new kibble with the rice mix.

I have the same kind of situation. Our pup is just 9 weeks, but was sent home with a bag of Puppy Chow. Unfortunately, it wasn't a lot and we can't find it anywhere around where we are. The food they sent him home with ran out quite quickly and so we weren't able to take as long as we wanted to introduce him to the new food. He's now completely on the new kibble. He is definitely whining a lot more but he still has a lot of energy and his poops are all still solid. I hope it doesn't hurt his stomach for long.
