Default Chicken Parmesan Biscuits

I came up with this recipe for my dogs. I thought I would share. Let me know how your pups like them.

Chicken Parmesan Biscuits

2 c oat flour
c brown rice flour
c flax meal
c grated parmesan cheese
2 jars chicken baby food (the tiny ones)
1 tbs Italian seasoning
1 jar chicken broth (baby food jar)

Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine all dry ingredients in mixing bowl, add baby food and broth. Mix to form dough. If dough is too stiff add a bit more broth. Roll out on a floured counter top, cut out shapes and bake.
Cooking time will vary depending on how thick your biscuits are. I started at 20 minutes and went from there. They should be dry and crunchy when done.

Warning: these smell so good you may want to keep them for yourself. If you do I would advise adding salt to the recipe, per the recommendation of my son, who did try them.

Feel free to change the flours around. I used what I did because I was making biscuits for my diabetic dog. She needs more fiber and lower GI and low fat ingredients.

Thanks! Looks yummy! ( per my Bub and Dixie )

The salt is only if for human use. I don't put it in for my pups.

I didn't think you were rude! I know what you mean about not eating certain things. My mininschnauzer is diabetic and can't have most things. That was the inspiration for this recipe. She is on Royal Canin Diabetic and not much else.
