OK I know it sounds strange. We made chili last week and we had extra Pinto Beans so I thought well I make a dog treat with them and see if the dogs like them or not. So I cooked the the beans about 1/2 lbs in beef stock for an hour. Then I pureed the beans with a little more beef stock until the were mushy. I really wondered if the dogs would like them or not. Well they both loved them and the cookies did not give them gas which I was surprised about so here is the recipe if anyone is interested.
1 1/4 C. Flour 1/4 C + 2 Tablespoons of Dry Milk 1/4 Cup of olive oil 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar 1/2 lbs beans Beef stock So I added the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. I added more Beef stock as needed to get a dough like texture. I cooked them for about 8-10 mins in a 350 degree F oven. When I pulled them out to cool i added a little Parmesan Cheese and a fresh parsley leaf. I put them in the Fridge once they were cooled. They are a soft cookie. And this made about 2 dozen or so drop cookies.

I know its weird but they love them... I've been good really busy just finished up my degree last month and now trying to find work... So I have just been silently lurking on the boards with out posting... Which also means I have missed a lot. BUt thanks for asking!
